We are delighted to invite our family and closest friends to celebrate our wedding with us! We’ve created this website as a helpful resource for all of the need-to-know details in the lead up to our big day. Here you’ll find our schedule of timings and venue directions, along with some recommendations on where to stay!

If you are flying from abroad, Lisbon airport is the closest to both the ceremony and reception locations.

LISBON
Portugal is a fantastic country for a week long holiday or a short getaway! If you are coming for longer than a weekend, we would recommend staying in Lisbon (Portugal’s capital city) and checking out what it has to offer. Janes is around 40 mins drive from Lisbon and you can catch an Uber to and from the venue. Here are some hotel recommendations (all close to downtown Lisbon ):
Lisbon Lounge Suites & Luzeiros Suites Lisboa - These small chain of hotels are owned by Dri's family (so are obviously recommended!). If you email the hotel of choice quoting "Adriana and Mina's wedding", you may get a discount ;)
CASCAIS
If a weekend is what you have planned for, then why not stay in Cascais? You can stay by the coast, do some surfing and explore the old fishermen’s town. Cascais is only 10/15 min drive to the wedding venue. Airbnb will probably be your best bet in terms of price/quality offering. However, if you prefer staying at a hotel here are some options with easy access to the town centre:
SINTRA
If hiking and palaces are more your thing, then Sintra will provide you with the perfect stay! Sintra is a little Portuguese town situated within the hills of the Serra de Sintra. Hidden within pine covered hills are extravagant palaces, opulent mansions and the ruins of ancient castles. Similarly to Cascais, Sintra is about 10/15 min drive to Janes. Here are some ideas of where you can stay in Sintra:

Word of warning, August in Portugal is hot, but it can get a little chilly at night in Janes.
